Welcome to my blog! I’m glad you stopped by and I hope you enjoy your visit! Sit down at rest a spell and feel free to comment. I’m writing this blog as a sort of diary of my journey to get a diagnosis for my 3 year old daughter whom I call “B” (one of her nicknames starts with the letter B, so we call her that sometimes). What we know so far is that she is developmentally delayed–she missed several milestones during her first year. I wanted to share our story because I’m sure that we’re not the only ones going through such a journey and maybe we can learn from each other. I’ll share some of the joys and frustrations of parenting a special needs child, dealing with red tape and waiting lists, things that I’ve found useful, and just about life in general.
